Grantsville is a growing community in the Tooele Valley situated between the Stansbury Mountains and the Great Salt Lake. One of the reasons for the city’s growth over the past few years is its proximity to Salt Lake City. It only takes thirty-eight minutes to reach Salt Lake’s downtown area from Grantsville. Many young professionals enjoy the open space and small-town feel of Grantsville while still enjoying all that Salt Lake City has to offer.

The city celebrates its rich heritage every year by remembering its seniors at the Old Folks Sociable, a tradition dating back to 1875.
