Over the last 25 years, DAI has been a pioneering force in the development of master-planned communities and commercial projects all along the Wasatch Front. Established in 1991, DAI has established over 8,000 acres of safe, connected, and vibrant places to live and work throughout the state of Utah.
DAI focuses on building good relationships with city officials, local businesses, and neighbors. By establishing parameters early on with local municipal leaders, DAI ensures that the overall master plan of a community or a commercial project will fit the City’s vision and goals as well as meet market needs. From meticulously strategized open space and curve-a-linear street design, to specific product diversification, the team at DAI carefully plans for the needs of the homeowner, community, and city. DAI considers the long-term success of each project, creating a plan to design and cultivate the vision so that it grows more beautiful over time.
Founded in the spring of 2009 by the partners of DAI, Candlelight Homes was initially established to bring DAI’s extensive experience in developing prominent, high-quality subdivisions across Utah into the realm of homebuilding, emphasizing the same character and attention to detail. Over the years, Candlelight Homes witnessed remarkable growth and secured a position as one of Utah’s fastest-growing companies, an accolade maintained for six consecutive years.
Experiencing an astounding 2600% growth in revenue in the first eight years, Candlelight Homes ascended to become the 4th largest homebuilder in Utah. Candlelight Homes has garnered substantial recognition on both local and national fronts, including prestigious awards like MountainWest’s Emerging Elite, Utah Business Magazine’s Fast 50, Builder Magazine’s Top 200 Builders in the Nation, and recognition as one of the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America. Additionally, Candlelight Homes received numerous design and service awards from esteemed platforms such as the Parade of Homes and Houzz.
Today, under the direction of David Vitek, President of Candlelight Homes, new directives are being implemented, and a new mission is being born. We look forward to many great endeavors and achievements to come from Candlelight Homes in the near future.
