DAI Utah Hosts Successful Meal Packaging Event to Help Combat Global Hunger

DAI teamed up with Rise Against Hunger, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending global hunger. On April 12, 2023, the two companies hosted a successful Meal Packaging Event at Academy Mortgage’s Draper location. DAI employee volunteers, along with friends and family, worked in tandem to prepare 14,000 meals that will be sent directly to those in need across the globe.

This impactful event allowed employees and volunteers to serve together for a common cause, making a difference in the fight against global malnutrition. Each packaged meal includes rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and a micronutrient pack. This combination contains a nutritious punch of 20 essential vitamins and nutrients. Nutrition security is vital for food security in these hunger-gripped areas.
